Forensic Psychiatry Services

Dr. Solis is board-certified in forensic psychiatry, a subspecialty that applies psychiatric knowledge and expertise to legal contexts involving criminal and civil matters. She has extensive experience performing both criminal and civil forensic evaluations, including for competency to stand trial, fitness for duty, disability, and work-related psychological injury.

Her clinical evaluation experience spans a wide range of mental disorders — including Major Depressive Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and Schizophrenia — conditions that can meaningfully affect both criminal and civil proceedings.

Dr. Solis has presented at a national forensic conference on the question of when speech protected by the First Amendment crosses the line into cyberstalking. She is available to provide psychiatric evaluation services for either the victim or the perpetrator in criminal or civil proceedings.
